Wileyfox Spark: Review

Hard Pass

The Wileyfox Spark is a tempting buy at £89, but even that's too much - and if you do buy one, you'll be attempting to return it within a few hours of trying to use it.If you never multitask on your phone and essentially only use it for calls and messaging, the Spark is a fine value phone, but if you want to actually use it for anything remotely demanding, you'll be disappointed. It's confusing, really, as the 5-inch 720p display would make it ideal for cheap gaming and watching of movies, but it just can't handle them.

The Wileyfox Spark is a budget handset from a plucky young UK handset maker, but can the sub-£100 phone deliver the sort of performance that can still make using it enjoyable?

We put it to the test to find out, but you don’t need a 2,000 word review to get to the good bits, so read on for a concise overview in 10SECOND style.

Cyanogen OS is easily customizable

Note: There is now a newer, and more powerful, version of this phone available as the Swift 2 & Swift 2 Plus.
