Apple’s wireless AirPod headphones are now finally available to buy for £159 in the UK, according to the company’s site, though there’s no word on how many units are available.
There had been rumours based on Chinese supply chain sources that the AirPods could be delayed until January, but it would seem that those concerns are unfounded right now. At the time of writing, you can purchase AirPods directly from Apple in the UK for delivery starting Monday, December 19.
At £159 it’s not the cheapest way to work around the lack of a headphone jack on the iPhone 7 but many people will have been waiting for these to launch before making the jump across to the new model. It was also imperative for Apple that they went on sale before Christmas, though you’ll be cutting it close if you’re buying them as a gift.
