More than 800 incidents of misuse of police computer systems to access civilian data has been revealed by FOI requests filed by Big Brother Watch.
Context:
While 800 might not sound like a lot, this is awful. It’s a terrible indicator of how people might expect their personal data to be treated if data laws continue to outweigh a right to privacy.
