A frustrating 20-minute conversation with Microsoft’s new chatbot Zo

Zo is Microsoft’s newest chatbot, this time available via Kik Messenger, and while they may be heralded as the future of human-computer interaction, right now they’re still mostly not very impressive.

We wouldn’t want you to have to waste 20 minutes of your own finding that out though, so you can just see the building frustration in mine instead. I’ll be honest, Zo is not the smartest chatbot around – and reports of the longest continuous conversation going on for more than nine hours are utterly mind-boggling.

Anyway, judge for yourself whether you could maintain such riveting conversation for more than an entire working day. I’m guessing you couldn’t.
