While it might have sounded a little like LG will be the first company to launch a phone running Andorid Nougat, it’s not.
The LG V20, announced this week as “the first device to feature Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box” is exactly that – the first one to offer it out of the box. A spokesperson for the company confirmed to 10SECOND.TECH that the update to Nougat would indeed roll out to existing Nexus devices first. That means, you can expect it to roll out to the Nexus 5X and 6P first.
LG’s V20 is due to launch in Q3 this year.
