Dutch designer Jalila Essaïdi has devised a method to turn cow manure into useful products like clothings, bio-degradable plastics and eco-friendly paper.

The material, called ‘Mestic,’ was showcased in a runway fashion show last month, run in a collaboration with Suna Producties, Inspidere and Eindhoven365.
According to Ecouterre, the next step for Essaïdi is to license the material in order to allow other designers to use it. She’ll then set to work on finding a use for pig excrement.
That last bit’s not a joke.
